When my cis heterosexual friends send me links and pics of things that they think are lgbt friendly, when in reality, are a bunch of junk that stereotypes the queer and trans community in a bad way. (The very fact that such stereotypes are normalized in our society as something deemed funny or comical makes me want to punch the fucking wall out >:[) And don’t even get me started on all the dumbass hacks on facebook that falsely out my male peers as ” i’m gay” or statements like “i love hard cock in my ass”. Yeah. Rediculous. As a LGB/Trans/Queer/GenderQueer ally, seeing shit like this on my newsfeed disgusts me. Deleting these fools daily. Even if it wasn’t their fingers that typed this false message, the company they’ve chosen to have near them clearly shows their lack of respect for varying sexual orientations, if this is a “funny” hack to them. What’s worse, I don’t even think they would allow me the time to teach them what I have learned from the beautiful queer and trans community on how to be a good ally!! :/ As a cis heterosexual identified woman, it pains me to be associated with such ignorant folk. THANK GOD FOR QUEER AND TRANS FOLK for adopting me and providing a safe and loving space away from these ignorant people!!! Forever Grateful <3 Gunna keep brainstorming ways on how to help hetero folk understand the importance of being an ally!! Slowly, but surely….<3 :)

UGH, never looked at my life and actions through an activist lens before I got to college, but now I’m having to deal with this new found anger from realizing my own oppression I never even considered before. There’s actually so many things I have never considered before now, and this scares me. I’m lucky now to be in a place where I have individuals I can trust to show and share to me all the fucked up things in the world and how to plan active change! Why am I all ready for activism when I’m at home and on break? Probably the lack of responsibilites at the moment giving me all this free time to read! It’s decided——-I’m dedicating the rest of break to reading and catching myself up to speed! Lucky for me, my friends are wealths of activist knowledge!! <3
Went to Disneyland with the person of my dreams and cuteness happened all day and they didn’t even try or realize it <3 Best way to spend my last day in Irvine :)
